Weather Policy

This is Canada and our weather can vary from one extreme to another. Hence, I feel it necessary to implement an extreme weather policy. Since my clients are under the age of 4 years and their little bodies both overheat and lose heat very quickly, I will not be taking the daycare children outside to play on days where the temperature is:

• Above 30 C
• Below -10 C

I will be the one deciding if the weather is too severe to take the children outside.
Please make sure that your child has the proper clothing for these outings.

Stormy Weather

Bad weather (snow/rain/fog etc.)

We all know when bad weather is expected.  It's all over the news/weather channel.
You are able to plan ahead and make arrangements to ensure your child picked up on time.
Because of this I will be charging late fees, during bad weather.

•  When possible please leave work early to insure you can pick up your child on time
• Arrange to have someone else to pick up your child before or at closing time
• Please call to let me know that you are on your way
• Drive at a safe speed. I would rather you be late then dead or hurt

Remaining open

I will remain open during bad weather.
It is up to decide if you want to risk bring your child to daycare or not.
