- Fever, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes in neck, fatigue
Transmission:
- Person to person by direct contact with saliva
Incubation:
- 4 to 6 weeks
Period of Communicability:
- Prolonged; may persist up to 1 year or more
We can discuss your child's return to daycare, once all the following criteria have been met:
- Your child can eat and drink normally
- Your child can participate in all daycare activities
- The daycare fever policy has been followed
- Your child doesn't put toys etc in his/her mouth
- A doctors note stating your child no longer contagious is required
Your child is required to remain home for at least forty-eight (48) hours, if not longer.
