Medication Policy
Parents must notify the Daycare of any medications given to their child prior to arriving at daycare.
This will enable me to monitor their child for any side effects.

I will administer prescription medication.
Non-prescription medication (such as Tylenol) will only be administer when accompanied by a Doctor’s Note.
The Doctor's note is required to state the dosage and times the medication is to be given.
Parents are responsible to cover all Dr.’s fees.
All medication is required to be in its original container with the child’s name clearly written on it.
A Medication Record Form is require to be fully filled out.

Medication will only be administered if in the following forms:
- Pills (chew-able or dissolving)
- Liquids
- Ear Drops
- Epi-Pens (Epi-Pen form must be completely filled out)
- Creams (you must provide disposable medical gloves)
Medication will NOT be administered in, but not limited to, the following forms:
If your child requires the medication during daycare hours you can come at set times to administer it or give written permission for another person (18 years old or older) at set times to administer it.
- Injection (excluding Epi-Pens)
- Eye Drops
- Depositories
- Pills that need to be swallowed
