Enrolment fees
- Your child's enrolment fee equals two weeks of the tuition payment.
- If your child stays until the last day of school (June 25th, 2021) the enrolment fee will go towards your child's last two weeks of care.
- If you terminate the daycare remote learning contract before the end of the school year you forfeit your enrolment fee.
A non-refundable enrolment fee is required. The enrolment fee is required immediately once the contract is signed by all parties (parent(s), guardian(s) and caregiver) and can be applied to the child's last 2 weeks of care ALREADY COMMENCED as well as covering any other expenses depending on how termination is done and type of care used. Please see the termination policy below for more details.

Temporary Remote learning care
If you need temporary remote learning care due to the government closing schools.
- Care can be offered week by week, until schools reopen.
- No enrolment fee will be charged, unless you decide to stay here once the schools reopen.

Returning for the 2021-2022 school year
If remote learning is still an option in the 2021-2022 school year and you would like your child to return, there will be a summer holding fee to guarantee your child's spot.

- Your child will need to bring a laptop daily.
- Web cams can NOT be turned on due to privacy issues.
- Your child will need to bring a lunch and snack daily.
- Your child must be in the English program in a remote OCDSB school
- Your child must be in either grade 4, 5 or 6.
- Care is ONLY offered on scheduled school days.
- You are responsible for finding care on P.D. days, March Break, Christmas Break, stats and any other day the
daycare needs to close.

- The daycare/provider is NOT responsible for your child's education. That is their teachers job.

- The tuition payment is paid bi-weekly
- The tuition payment is a flat weekly fee that does not vary for any reason. (You pay the same amount every two weeks from the time your child starts until their care ends.)
- All fees are non-refundable.
- All fees are to be paid by Electric Money Transfer (EMT)

Termination by Clients
1. If you chose to terminate care before the last day of school (June 25, 2021). A four (4) week (20 business days) written notice is required and MUST be given on a non-pay week. A longer notice can also be provided and is always appreciated. However only the last four (4) weeks (20 business days) of the notice will be considered the official notice.
2. If the enrolment fee is greater than the amount owed for the two weeks of care the remainder of the money is forfeited.
3. If termination is done immediately (with or without notice), or with less than four (4) weeks (20 business days):
- A payment equalling four (4) weeks of your weekly tuition payments is due.The payments can be made in two (2) instalment, on the scheduled pay days or in one (1) lump sum to be paid within 48 hours of terminating the contract.
4. If you or the provider terminates with notice and you decide to leave before the end of the notice period you forfeit all fees paid (enrolment fees, tuition fee, etc.) and the remained of the notice period of care. Payment is still due for the duration of the notice period.
5. If you terminate care (for any reason) before your contracted starting date you forfeit all fees paid. Such as, but not limited to; holding fees, enrolment fee etc.
6. If you terminate care (for any reason) on or after the contracted start date you forfeit all fees paid. Such as, but not limited to; holding fees, tuition fees etc.
7. If you terminate care but wish to return later you will need to sign a new contract, pay new increase fees, and pay another enrolment fee. You are not guaranteed a spot unless a new non-refundable enrolment fee is paid.

The provider holds the right to terminate immediately for the following reasons:
- If there is use of inappropriate words (name-calling, foul language) shaming, humiliating, threatening or
frightening a child, another parent, provides family or the provider herself.
- If there is any violent behaviour from the parents or child
- If you are caught medicating your child to mask an illness or fever.
- If you or your child breaches one or more of the daycare Policies.
- For any reason the provider deems it to be in the best interest and safety of others or your child.
