Fever Policy
Your child is required to remain home.
We can discuss your child's return to daycare once all the following criteria has been met:
- 48 hours fever free
- 48 hours free of any fever reducing/masking medication.
- Two Covid-19 rapid tests done within 24 and 48 hours for returning to daycare
- There has been no known exposure to Covid-19 or other illness
If your child gets a fever while at daycare, you will be contacted to pick your child up.
If I find out that you have given your child medication to cover up a fever before sending your child to daycare, I hold the right to terminate care immediately.

48 hour period is between 12:00 am and 11:59 pm
Example: if a fever starts Monday morning and breaks Monday night, the 48 hour period starts as of 12:00 am Tuesday morning. If your child isn’t given any medication and the fever doesn’t return between 12:00 am Tuesday to 12:00 am Thursday, your child can return to daycare Thursday.

Your child is required to remain home for at least Seventy-Two (72) hours, if not longer.
